Lake Bled Day Trip: Castles, Pletna Boats & Island Church

The traditional way to reach Bled Island (Blejski otok) is aboard a pletna—a broad-beamed wooden craft covered with a colorful fabric canopy, operated exclusively by licensed oarsmen known as pletnarji.
